We are delighted to announce that we are organising Alumni meet of Former Postgraduates of Medicine Dept of Mahadevappa Rampure Medical college on 17th January 2027.
This alumni meet is the brainchild of Dr. Sangram Biradar under the able guidance and advice of Dr. P. S. Shankar Sir former HOD of Medicine, Dean and presently Diamond Jubilee professor.
Since many of our alumni have been away from their Almamater for many years, it will be a unique opportunity to meet their batchmates, friends, other alumni, teachers who have groomed them and visit the Almamater.
It will be one day programme planned in such a manner where our Alumni will recollect old times and share their personal growth. It will be an opportunity to express their gratitude to their mentors who have groomed them to become excellent Doctors. Our college and attached Basaweshwar Teaching and General Hospital have grown phenomenally over the years. Weather in Gulbarga (Kalaburagi) in the month of January will be very pleasant.
All the organising commitee members are striving hard to make the event a grand celebration.
Hence on behalf of organising commitee I appeal to all the Former Postgraduates to attend this Alumni meet with their families to rejoice, reunite, renew and revive their association with batchtmates, other alumni, teachers and Almamater.

Medical Education brings together students from different parts of the country and abroad. After undergraduate course, they come out as doctors and get distributed in different regions. Some join the post-graduate course in different Medical Colleges in the country including their own Alma Matre.
Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College (MRMC) has been attracting doctors to undergo post-graduate training. Medical Graduates from different Medical Colleges came here for their post-graduate training which led them to develop a bond of lasting friendship with their colleagues.
After leaving the College, they have not met. They have established themselves as Clinicians, Teachers and Administrators. They have also grown familywise. Dr. S. R. Harwal and Dr. Sangram Biradar have thought that it is time to meet and exchange their development in the Profession and their progress in family. They have planned a Get-together on 17th January 2027 at MRMC. It will give them an opportunity to take stock of their growth and development and to pay respect to the teachers. Usually, the undergraduates meet and this is new experience to the postgraduates.
